A 1970 Ford Torino GT Restomod with 350 hp 5.8 L V8

This is a real Ford Torino GT that just finished a restoration. It has a few upgrades tastefully making it look even better than new.

Exterior: This Fastback has some great lines, a great look, nice colors and sharp wheels. The body is straight, fits true nicely and there is no rust or damage. It is a modern color called Molten Orange. The metal flake and the orange glow really pops in the sun. The glossy finish continues on the rolls. Scoop hood has blackout treatment. It also has sports mirrors. The chrome on the fenders, door handles and trim on the top of the doors is sparkling. Straight and polished stainless steel trim. The barbecue and honey comb tail plate is very good. Weather strips have been replaced. The really sharp looking 18-inch American Mag wheels have performance tires on them.

Interior: Disassembled and surrounded by Dynamat sound blocker. Underneath the floor is new carpet, floaters and a full set of seat belts. The fronts have been upgraded with retractable shoulder straps. On the cam is a console with cup holders and there is a B&M silver gearbox. The door panels look new. The dashboard is new, the knobs are clean. It has a set of custom gauges with a compact tachometer built in. New retro stereo with hidden antenna and 6 x 9 speakers at the back.

Engine Compartment: The original Cleveland 351 engine was completely rebuilt. It’s been given a bit more kick with a hotter cam, aluminum Edelbrock heads and socket, dual-feed Holley carb with electric throttle and Sanderson heads. Flamethrower distributor, MSD wire and Street Fire CDI. The front of the engine has rod brackets, pulleys, a chrome-powered power steering pump and a new alternator. Electric brakes with new master cylinder from Wilwood. Upgraded aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It has a stainless steel braided tube. New century, washers are connected. The engine compartment is clean, smooth metallic, painted in semi-gloss black. Under the hood color the body. Several new screws. It’s a nice looking engine compartment.

Luggage compartment: solid, clean metallic compartment. Its a new rubber mat. The battery has been moved to the back case. The bottom of the trunk lid and the bracket are painted like a car. New weather segment.

Bottom: The bottom of this vehicle has been completely restored. All ingredients look fresh. The front end has been completely rebuilt. It was upgraded with the adjustable VariShock coil over the gas shocks. Ball joints, bushings, steering components, swing rod, power steering control valve, tank arm, etc. It has Koni gas shocks in the rear. The brake system has been completely restored. Wilwood’s upgrade has perforated and slotted discs on the front. New lines, braided hoses, electronic brake cables, remanufactured drums in the rear. Custom dual exhaust with stainless steel muffler. New fuel system including tank, tapes, transmission unit and lines. Looking at the engine it is clean, and the starter is isolated. Rebuilt Heavy Duty C-6 Automatic. New driveshaft and U-joints. Reconstructed rear end with 3.00 posi. The floors, frame bars, and underbody are all in clean metal that has been primed and painted in semi-gloss black.

This is a great car all around. It’s unique, sharp, and ready to display and go!
