A Custom 1970 Chevy Camaro Pro Street with 650hp Big Block Engine

If a custom Camaros is your thing, there’s a very good chance you’ll love the Pro Street model we’ve got here, which, while built with racing in mind, is unparalleled.

That’s what the car seller claims in his listing, stating that the 1970 Camaro is painted Candy Apple Red and comes in almost good condition with only a few exceptions that can be easily corrected.

It’s a rust-free model that’s received a lot of upgrades, and it all starts with the engine.

The Camaro is powered by a fuel-injected, supercharged 496ci (8.1 liter) engine that generates approximately 650 horsepower.

Needless to say, the big block engine is just a small part of the massive upgrade happening under the hood, as the Camaro is also equipped with aluminum Brodex heads, electric water pump and fans, Griffin intercooler, MSD ignition and a hydraulic cylinder cam with Comp Cams rotary rockers, and Hooker heads.

The engine is mated to a Turbo 400 transmission, while the braking system has been upgraded to use discs on all 15-inch Center Line wheels.

The interior itself is also likely to impress you, as the standard seats have been replaced with racing ones. The owner also installed a custom aluminum plate with AutoMeter gauges, including the oil pressure, water temperature and fuel level indicators. A roll cage is also offered, and frame connectors are used to enhance the vehicle’s overall stability.

All of this makes the Camaro a very unique model, and the video embedded below shows just how well it runs. Of course, it could easily be used as a daily driver, although it goes without saying that this isn’t necessarily the purpose of this custom build. The Camaro was listed for $36,995.
