Dodge Charger Daytona SRT EV Concept was Caught on Set of Fast & Furious 10

Recent videos and photos from the next addition to the Fast & Furious franchise, the tenth movie in the saga to be called “Fast-X,” have revealed a selection of vehicles that may appear in the popular car movie franchise.

A video on YouTube channel, from the Angelino Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, showed two concepts for the upcoming electric vehicles and a Dodge Charger long associated with Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel).

The first concept car, seen driving off a street that was closed for filming, is the recently unveiled Dodge Daytona SRT EV concept car. Seen in the same shade called “Grays of Thunder”, as was recently introduced at the unveiling, the car also retains its illuminated grille.

The horsepower and torque figures for the concept car that will effectively replace the gas-powered Challenger have yet to be revealed. However, it sits on an 800-volt architecture and will reportedly outperform the SRT Hellcat engine.

Since the Fast & Furious series has been linked to the Dodge Charger since the first movie, it makes sense that Dodge would choose to include this electric concept in the series’ tenth and final installment.

The movie being shot, known as Fast 10 or Fast-X, will be the penultimate movie in the series. it has sparked some frustration from residents surrounding the filming locations, who say the film’s presence has inspired fans to perform dangerous stunts in their area. In fact, the video was initially intended to be for the protests surrounding the film.
