Custom cars for many of the best cars, and the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS restomod that we have here is just living proof of just how great an iconic model can get with the right upgrades.
The Camaro 69 has received a lot of improvements, and they all start with a 496 ci (8.1 liter) large V8 engine that generates no less than 606 hp.
The engine comes along with a series of welcome upgrades to support its impressive production including a four-cylinder carburetor for the AED fuel systems, Specter dual air intakes, March serpentine spools and Hedman long tube heads.
The engine is mated to a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission, explains Streetside Classics, the garage selling this beast today.
The Camaro comes with a completely custom red interior that looks really amazing. In addition to the working air conditioning system, you also get a stereo system with a full Kicker audio system, an upgraded dashboard that includes AutoMeter Sport-Comp gauges, a Billet Specialty leather-wrapped steering wheel, and even a glowing start button to turn on the engine.
Needless to say, the car comes in good condition, and the exterior itself is the first thing that might catch everyone’s attention. The Camaro comes with RS-style hidden headlights, a lowered suspension, as well as a blackout treatment for some exterior details, including front and rear bumpers and mirrors.
The exterior looks overall very smooth, and the eye-catching design is nicely rounded off by the Intro Billet wheels that are easily noticeable when you see the car from the side.
Overall, it’s very clear that this is a custom Camaro like no other, and the good news is that you can actually park it in front of your house for the right price. Needless to say, it’s not a cheap car, with Streetside Classics currently selling it for $119,995.
