Ford showed an impressive lineup of cars at the SEMA Show, and this includes the one-of-a-kind 1969 Mustang owned by country music star Keith Urban.

The singer has owned the car since 2008 when Nicole Kidman gifted it to celebrate their second wedding anniversary. It had been restored before but Urban wasn’t happy with the results and soon after meeting Jay Leno, he was able to pull entire leads at Ford and have the automaker itself bring the car back.

This 1969 Ford Mustang was painted black, but Urban wanted something unique, so he Googled the darkest shade of blue he could find and settled on a shade inspired by the Mariana Trench, the deepest oceanic trench on Earth. The paint is very dark when not in direct light but under lights at SEMA, its purple and blue tones were on full display.

Several other modifications were made to the car. It’s mounted on Forgelin wheels inspired by the new Mustang Mach 1 and wrapped in Michelin tires, and features Bilstein dampers that are adjustable in all four corners. Additionally, it has Six-piston Willwood brake calipers in the front, four-piston calipers in the rear, and new front and rear subtires.

Ford also overhauled the Restomod’s interior, providing it with amenities such as unique leather seating, sound shutdown, and new air conditioning and heating units.

Under the hood is a 5.0-liter V8 topped with a supercharged Roush and long-tube heads pumping out 700 horsepower. This engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels.
