Mopar’s powerful 7.0L Hellephant V8 engine in a Classic Dodge Charger is like raising hell. SpeedKore, a tuner in Wisconsin, had this wicked idea of stuffing it into a 1970 Dodge Charger wrapped in a carbon fiber body and they simply call it ‘HellRaiser’.

The gorgeous, seemingly evil one-time build was actually commissioned by actor Kevin Hart, a huge car enthusiast who happened to ironically destroy one of SpeedKore’s previous buildings.

After scanning the original body down to the smallest detail, the company created molds using a CNC machine and then fabricated the body using aerospace-grade carbon fiber. At Hart’s request, no special paint or finish was applied to it.

The long, flat bonnet with a bulge down the center is perforated by the engine’s 3.0-liter supercharger, which generates 1,000 horsepower and 950 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission sourced from the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon transmits that power to the rear wheels via the Ford’s 9-inch rear end. The exhaust system is unique to this car.

SpeedKore also fitted the sixth-generation Corvette’s front suspension and four-link rear suspension with Penske shocks. Six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brakes provide critical stopping power.

The entire interior has also been changed, although it retains a certain look from the 1970s. There are roll bars, custom instruments, controls, a dashboard, and a center console, as well as Recaro sport seats with four-point belts, large side bolsters and a midsection designed to look like six-packs.

No one sknow how much Kevin Hart paid for Hellraiser, but he’s definitely worth a fortune.
