The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is incredibly fast. From the factory, it can take under 10 seconds a quarter mile, making it faster than anything else you can buy with a license plate. The people at Speedkore were not satisfied, so they proceeded to make the demon faster. It seems they succeeded.

Speedkore has unveiled a Dodge Demon in which all of its carbon fiber body panels have been copied, and its supercharged replaced with two 6875 Precision Billet T4 turbochargers. It now produces nearly 1,400 hp at the flywheel, which is 1,203 hp at the rear wheels. The car looks great from the outside, except for the carbon fiber texture, hood pins, and side exhausts mounted on either side of the front bumper. Thanks to the weight savings and a massive increase in power, it’s able to cut a quarter-mile time of 8.77 seconds at 162 mph—about a second faster than a stock Demon by 9.65 seconds. Oh, and it also looks great.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Speedkore replace the muscle car’s body with carbon fibre. In July of 2017, the company unveiled the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R all-carbon body with a weight saving of more than 400 pounds. Of course, it wasn’t cheap – the conversion itself cost $64,000 plus the price of the car. Then, at SEMA later that year, Speedkore released its first all-carbon Challenger SRT Demon—though that car kept its stock 840 horsepower. Speedkore hasn’t mentioned how much weight the carbon-body Demon saves on the stock, but we imagine it should be more than the weight savings on a Mustang.
